Our History
We began providing customers with home comfort solutions in Charlottesville, Albemarle County, and surrounding communities in 1922. We are proud of our long history in this business, but we are certainly not stuck in the past.
Our business has grown with our customers, and we are inspired by our legacy of innovation. We are constantly evolving to ensure that our customers are comfortable—not only with the services we provide —but with the ease and efficiency of our customer interface.
More than 100 years since we opened our doors, we are a team of 50 employees and 30 trucks. We offer the most advanced service, repair, and installation for all your home comfort needs including plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical, HVAC, and smart some technology.

W.E. Brown has been an active part of the Charlottesville community for over 100 years. We are passionate about supporting local causes and we set aside reasources every year to ensure that we are giving back to our community.
The W.E. Give Back Program was created to help non-profit organizations by bringing recognition to their tireless work in helping our neighbors.
