I booked this company for an estimate arriving at 10:30 am Wednesday. Just after 9 am they called to say that their technician had finished the preceding job early and to ask if they could come to my house early. This did not work for me. I was informed that they would send their technician on to the next job, and couldn't guarantee that the technician would arrive at my house at my original appointment time. The woman on the phone did not respond to my question as to why they couldn't just keep their word and arrive at my house at 10:30. She continued to repeat herself ignoring my request. Clearly this was off to a bad start. I prefer not to work with a company that appears to put their own interest and convenience ahead of their commitment to faithful and honest business practices. I cancelled the appointment.
We had problems with our 14 year old gas water heater. Called W.E. Brown on Monday and made an appointment for Friday between 8:00 & 8:30am. Dale Worrell arrived Friday at 7:45 am and went right to work. Our water heater needed to be replaced. Dale called the office and, less than an hour, a new gas water heater arrived. He installed it and we were set. From the first call to W.E. Brown to the installation of our new water heater they were courteous and professional and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. Jim and Mary Campbell
The staff are always warm, helpful, and on the ball, and the technicians have been keeping our geothermal HVAC system in great shape, as needed, for almost eight years with quick estimates, fast repairs, and without ever being pushy about any extra services. They are terrific at keeping us informed about the time of their arrival at our house, and the expected time to complete the job. Eight years ago, when we began building our house, management was a pleasure to work with, both very knowledgeable and helpful in discussing and explaining the design, while taking my requests and questions during the construction period seriously. We are grateful to our builder, Cecil Cobb, for steering us their way. We couldn't have asked for better partners to build our house and install the hugely cost-efficient geothermal heating and cooling system. I highly recommend W.E. Brown for their services!
these gentlemen were the absolute best. i live in a basement apartment and when they were working my landlords' upstairs bathroom my sink overflowed with the clogged water. they were awesome in stopping the flood and saving my apartment. they were very kind and offered to stay and clean up the entire mess. i would recommend them to all of my friends and family because of their professional manner and ability to get the job done quickly and under pressure. i am so very grateful for their work and assistance!
Wayyy overpriced for services. I found a new company to install my garbage disposal on and hot water heater for less than half the price. I didn't want to give less than a 3 star because I never want to hurt business but wished this business would reconsider their incredibly high priced installation costs.
